- ATA Conquer Yourself - Virginia Beach March 20-21st 2009

So, one week after Vegas we went to VA Beach for another event (only 800 competitors this time). This was a very good group that proved to be very challenging. I had tie breakers in two events, but I came out with third in XMA (17-45 year old, men/women, 1st-5th degree black belt) and third in forms for Men - 30-49 2nd-3rd degree black belt (lost the tie for second). I did get to work out with Grandmaster on the sand, which was cool but not cool because I was competing an hour or so later - but it still was a chance not to be missed.
